I’m a formally-trained programmer and database designer, with a MSc in Computing (University of Bradford, 1991). I’ve used a number of languages in my career (Pascal, C, Toolbook, ASP) but I currently develop in PHP (using the Codeigniter framework) and Javascript (using the jQuery framework) on both Windows and Unix hosts. I use the MySQL database environment.
