Weblogs
I've currently got four weblogs in English on the go:
- This England. Observations on life in England
in the noughties from a grizzled middle-aged leftie. Not recommended for
'patriots' or Right-thinking people...
- Harry's Happy Hamster
Home. Rants, ravings, and even rational musings
on ships and sails and sealing wax, the big issues of our time, or just what
happened
to wind me up in the papers.
- The House Mover's Tale. Chronicling the stress and aggro of buying
and selling a house. An antidote to the Property Porn on TV, and a cautionary
tale for
starry-eyed would-be property ladder climbers. Also a warning to would-be inhabitants of Nottingham about Bilborough... ;-\
- Gaelic Learner. Chronicling my experiences as a learner of Scots Gaelic, including various language tidbits and curiosities that might be of interest to other learners, or just to anyone interested in languages.
- Walkies. Notes of walks I'll be going on in
the wild and woolly countryside. NB: I've not had time to write anything
in this as yet <sigh>.
Each
weblog (not 'blog', puh-lease!) has a RSS newsfeed with which you can keep
in touch with all the latest thorts and ramblings, hot off the keyboard. These are courtesy of Wordpress, which I turned to in early 2008 after the sheer frustration of using Blogger for some years. All the posts and comments should have imported ok into Wordpress.
